She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Younts and Nora J. Younts (Holdren); her husband Paul Edward Adkins; her son James R. Adkins; and her sisters, Eunice Gillis and Marjorie Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Paula K. Smith of Hampstead, NC, Sharon L. Baker (John Farrat) of Hartford City and John P. Adkins (Shonda) of Erwin, TN; and her grandchildren, Lori K. Musser (Michael), Amy M. Smith, J. Jonathon Smith (Elisha), P. Chad Baker (Lisa), Aaron J. Baker (Tasha), Jennifer Adkins, Scott Adkins (Lindsey), Mitchell Adkins (Kanae) and Micah Adkins. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
