She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Lyman Mealy; her daughter Teresa "Terri" Lynn Jernigan; and her siblings, Franklin Keith Cheney, Clara Cline, Daisy Strine, Norma J. Hardwick, Elma Dudley, Josephine Blazer, Lavada Scott and James Robert Cheney.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie J. Kirkpatrick (John E.) of Marion, Patti A. McVicker (David E.) of Hartford City and Edward Leon Mealy (Camille) of Hartford City; her son-in-law Jim Jernigan of Hartford City; and her grandchildren, John Kirkpatrick II (Katie), Shannon Pryor (Kevin), Lisa Sandoe (Jay), Scott Mealy (Karen), Kyle Mealy (Courtney), Brian E. Kleefisch (Mary A.), Lori A. Eakins (Allen D.), Casey L. McVicker (Andrea) and Sarah L. Swift (Kyle). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
