It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linard Curtis Stephens Sr. (Hartford City, Indiana), who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Stephens and Alberta Stephens (Worley); his wife Dianna R. Stephens (Bennett); his children, Ricky Lee Bennett and Debra Johnson; and his brother Ray Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Twigg (Jeremy) of Pennville, Tina Stephens of Eaton, Leonard Stephens (Kristi Donahue) of Upland and Patricia Gee (Joe) of Hartford City; and his siblings, Lindel Stephens (Judy) of Nottingham, Charlie Stephens of Kentucky, Leamon Stephens (Patty) of Portland, Larry Stephens (Kathy) of Kentucky, Lonnie Stephens of Pennville, Link Stephens of Texas and Leoma Leffingwell of Hartford City. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Keplinger Funeral Home (509 N High St, Hartford City, IN 47348). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
