He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Andrew Garrett and Velma A. Garrett (Reid); and his wife Margaret Lee Rowark. He is survived by: his children, Leon "Lee" Allen Garrett of Hartford City and Rebecca "Becky" Sue Rains of Hartford City; his grandchildren, Shane Perry (Lona), Jordan Rains (Sara), Cody Rains (Hannah), Kristie Lee Garrett, Kathryne Marie Garrett and Kimberlee Spears (Malik); his sister Connie J. Garrett-Moreno of Hartford City; and his nieces, Todra Haist and Norma Marie Weirs. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 3 grand nieces, 1 grand nephew and 5 great grand nephews.
