He was predeceased by: his parent Theodore Hugh; his wife Elnora A. Fleming (Cruse); his children, Jerry Fleming, Loretta Sherman and Catherine Rudd; and his brothers, Jack Fleming and Charles Fleming.

He is survived by: his parent Loretta Fleming (Elsroth); his wife Hope Delores Fleming (Morris) of Hartford City; his daughters, Rita Reedy (Lowell) of Hartford City and Barbara Teagarden of Marion; and his sister Mary Cullum of Kansas City, KS.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and several great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
