He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Franklin and L. Laverne Cansler (Murrell); his close friend Carol Vincent; and his siblings, Betty Carell, Eddie Lee Cansler, Eldon James Cansler and Kenneth Cansler.
He is survived by: his son Cory Mansfield (Misty Pursley) of Montpelier; his grandson Landon Mansfield; his brother Rick Cansler; and his cousin Murrell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Waters Funeral Home (501 W Washington St, Hartford City, IN 47348). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
