She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Smith and Carrie L. Garton (Norton); her stepparents, Wayne Garton and Sue Smith; her brother Bill Garton; her half-sister Nancy Hutson; her stepsiblings, Sandy Boyles and Tom Garton; and her great-niece Josslyn Gee.
She is survived by: her son Cory Smith; her grandchildren, Michael Sills, Andrea Smith, Tessa Smith, Tiarra Hale and Tadavea Titan Miller; her great grandchild Krispen Barnett; and her siblings, Robert W. Smith of Hartford City, Lee Ann O'Hern (Pat) of Bluffton and Kathy Hart (Orlo) of Angola. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home (109 W Windsor St, Montpelier, IN 47359). Viewing was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Advanced Behavioral ABA Therapy of Dunkirk or the Blackford County Animal Shelter.
