He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" Lee Sutton Sr.; and his brother Tony Sutton. He is survived by: his mother Janet Marie Sutton (Van Horn) of Hartford City; his sons, Aaron Michael Sutton of Muncie and James H. Sutton of Phenix City, AL; his grandchildren, Joshtin Sutton and Paisley Sutton; and his sisters, Melinda A. Lewitt of Indiana, Rhonda J. Cale (James) of Hartford City and Shari E. Lake of Muncie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
