He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlin Sills and Marilyn Sills; his granddaughter Karlie Townsend; his brother-in-law Michael Dickey; and his uncle Joe Castillo.
He is survived by: his wife Anne M. Baird (Dickey) of Hartford City; his children, Kristin Donahoe (Bobby) of Kentucky, Tasha Sills-Hensley (Kyle) of Marion, Adam Sills of Tennessee, Tabitha Cagle (Drae) of Auburn, Abbie Reinig, Preston Townsend of Hartford City, Kelsie Reinig and Drake Shafer of Columbia City; his parents-in-law, Penny and David Dickey; his grandchildren, Colin Jones, Jacob Jones, Wyatt Smith, Chelsea Prescott (Christopher), Alyssa Townsend, Dylan Sills, Gracie Townsend, Jayden Cagle and Ashlyn Cagle; his great grandchildren, Riverly Jones and Karlina Jo Guy; and his aunt Brenda Castillo.
