He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Orval Bowman and Helen Elizabeth Capper (Harriell); his stepbrother Ronald L. Capper; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Bowman; and his grandson Chad R. Bowman.
He is survived by: his children, David A. Bowman, Robert W. Bowman (Cheri), Terry E. Bowman (Jaunice), Cindy L. Garrison (Joe), Tracey A. Paxson (Bill) and Ann M. Miller (Fred); his siblings, Gary Don Bowman (Carolyn) of Hartford City, IN., Sherry Reynolds (Bob) of Hartford City, IN. and Gayle Nelson of Elkhart, IN.; and his stepchildren, Kristine Gardner and Bill Wood. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, and 25 Great Grandchildren.
