He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest "Mack" A. Gilland and Thelma M. Gilland (Chandler); his wife Margaret A. Gilland (Sullivan); his daughter Lynn Ann Gilland; and his siblings, Harold Gilland, Max Gilland, Dave Gilland and Bonnie Roberds.
He is survived by: his niece Cathy L. Jenkinson-Button of Hartford City. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
