Batten of Hartford City, Indiana, born in Pennville, Indiana, who passed away on August 14, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Taylor and Letha Opal Taylor (Nuckols); and her brother Virgil E. Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Henry A. Batten of Hartford City; her daughters, Becky Hoover (Curt) of Hartford City and Melinda Collier (Phil) of Tipton; her grandchildren, Devin Hoover (Ashley), Drake Hoover, Darci Freds (Bob), Sarah Ewoldt (Seth) and Caleb Collier; her great grandchildren, Finn Hoover, Maverick Hoover, Lu Lu Hoover, Reed Hoover, Huckston Freds, Shawn Ewoldt, Sage Ewoldt and Samuel Ewoldt; and her sister Barbara S. Beeks of Warren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
