It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Earl Sicks (Hartford City, Indiana), born in Akron, Indiana, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl Sicks and Edna Irene Sicks (Landis); his sister Norma McKee; and his son-in-law Terry Avery. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Ann "Annie" Sicks (Smith) of Hartford City; his children, Cheryl L. Snyder (Kevin) of Hartford City, Robbin E. Williams (Tim) of Hartford City, William E. "Bill" Sicks II (Amy) of Hartford City, Christi D. Hall (Andy) of Hartford City, Sharon A. Smith (Herbie) of Syracuse, Karen S. Avery of Goshen, Vicky L. Showalter (Jim) of Eaton, Lisa G. Morris (Lanta Rhymes) of Hartford City, Kathy L Dawalt (Garry) of Peru and Angie J. Schlechty (Steve) of Portland; and his sister Beth Bailey (Fred) of Hartford City. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; soooooooo many great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandsons.
