He was predeceased by: his parents, William DeWayne Hopkins and Lydia Irene Hopkins (Elwood); his brother Charles Hopkins; and his nephews, Eric Kemp and Jason Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon K. Hopkins (White) of Pennville; his siblings, Chloe Ann Kemp of Hartford City, Lois Curcio (Ernie) of Lake Worth, FL, Melinda Wagner (Mark) of Hartford City and Lloyd Hopkins (Sharon) of Dunkirk; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Guffey (Mike) of Hartford City and Jerry White (Penny) of Hartford City. He is also survived by 4 nephews and 5 nieces and several great-nieces and nephews.
