He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Gene Orme and Onnie E. DeRossett (Eakins); his son Dustin Willhite; his brothers, Bill Orme and Charles "Hap" Orme; and his sister-in-law Trina Orme.

He is survived by: his wife Michele R. Orme (Willhite) of Hartford City, IN; his daughter Rachelle Willhite of Hartford City, IN; his grandchildren, Shiria Willhite of Upland, IN and Ethyn Willhite of Hartford City, IN; and his siblings, Bob Orme (Deb) of Fowlerton, IN, Delbert "Boone" Orme (Jenny) of Tipton, IN and Bonita Thomas (Charles) of Marion, IN.. He is also survived by 5 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home (109 W Windsor St, Montpelier, IN 47359).
