He was predeceased by: his father William Clifford Cavanaugh; his stepfather George Franklin "Frank" Hall; and his brothers, William Clifford Cavanaugh Jr. and James M. Hall. He is survived by: his mother Betty Sue Cavanaugh-Hall (Martin) of Hartford City; his wife Kellie Jean Cavanaugh (Routledge) of Hartford City; his children, William Christopher Cavanaugh (Alyssa) of Van Buren, Sean Patrick Cavanaugh (Krista) of Hartford City, Devin Ryan Cavanaugh (Caitlin) of Montpelier, Brook Ann Day of Hartford City, Alexander Paul Burch-DeWitt (Leanna) of Muncie and Zachary Michael Burch of Muncie; his grandsons, Nicholas Cavanaugh and Gabriel Cavanaugh; and his siblings, Erin Elizabeth Underhill (Billy) of Dale, IL, Jessie H. Hall of Hartford City and Daniel D. Hall (Jill) of Hartford City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
