He was predeceased by: his parents, James Erwin Overla Sr. and Betty Lou Bockover (Cameron); his grandsons, Levi Tudor and Zachary Tudor; his sister Vickie; his brother-in-law Nelson Burcham; and his brother James Overla Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Debbie J. Overla (Mills) of Hartford City; his children, Chuck Overla (Amber), Greg Overla (Heather O'Connell), Jenny Tudor (Brian) and Cassie Overla; his grandchildren, Aaron Overla, Megan Johnson, Derek Tudor, Alexander Overla, Emily Overla and Tyler Overla; his great grandchildren, Makayla Johnson and Liliana Johnson; his brothers, Jason (Jennifer Vetang) and Justin Overla; and his sister-in-law Debbie Overla. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
