She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Elam and Lelia Elam (Davis); her husband Larry Joe Whitesell; her son Larry Joe Whitesell II; her grandson William Copeland; and her siblings, James Elam and Pauline Lugar.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa M. Love (Kevin R.) of Hartford City and Lori A. Whitesell of Hartford City; her grandchildren, Larry Joe Whitesell (Jessica), Erik T. Whitesell, Allen S. Whitesell (Heather Dulworth), Christie M. Hedden (Steve Tebbe), Tamara "Tammy" A. Love (Jeromy Leonard) and Joseph "Joe" R. Love (Samantha); her siblings, Peggy Holsten of Hartford City and Charlie Elam (Brenda) of Indianapolis; and her sister-in-law Pauletta Elam. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
