It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Stone of Hartford City, Indiana, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac John "Junior" Bennett and Minnie C. Bennett (Chick); her husband William Diehl "Bick" Stone; and her sister Betty Jo Orendorff. She is survived by: her children, Marcus J. Stone of Hartford City, Cheryl R. Hoover (Paul) of Hartford City and Vicki J. Storer of Hartford City; her grandchildren, Heather L. Hoover, Heidi L. Hess (Kyle), Radlie J. Storer (Kendra) and Erica N. Boggs (Charlie); her great grandchildren, Daniell Jenkins (Caleb), Jordan Stafford (Tori Eppard), Hannah Williams (Summer), Devin Hess (Kendra Haynes), Kendall Hess (Gavin Wolfgang), Kinley Storer, Reagan Storer, Courtlinn Boggs, Carlie Boggs and Colton Boggs; her great great grandchildren, Benjamin Jenkins, Emma Jenkins, Bri Stafford and Graham Odle; and her sister Debbie Penrod (Ralph) of Hartford City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
