He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles LeRoy Thompson and Martha Bell Morrical (Frazier); and his siblings, William E. Thompson, Jack L. Thompson, Charis Tracy, Marlyn Hood, Sandra McCormick, Judith Rhodes, Infant Naomi Minnick and Infant Patricia Minnick.
He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Thompson (Towns) of Hartford City; his children, James A. Thompson (Diana) of Huntington, Ken R. Sutton (Christine) of Bluffton and Jennifer M. Jenson (Jeff) of Muncie; his grandchildren, Abby, Victoria, Brooke, Zach, Kami, Daniel, Jas, River, Nick and Casey; and his sister-in-law Betty Jo Thompson of Marion. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
