It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Perez (Hartford City, Indiana), who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gardner Brewer and Evelyn McMahan (New); her husband Macario "Mac" Perez; her children, Clyde William Hodge, Gardner Eugene Hodge and Ronald Hodge; and her siblings, Etta Tracy, Charles Holden, Richmond Brewer and Eniex Brewer.
She is survived by: her children, Telista Hodge of Hartford City, Evelyn Michelle Conn of Hartford City, Elmer W. Hodge III (Trannie) of Marion, Stanley Hodge (Rhonda) of Oklahoma and James M. Perez (Angela) of Peru; and her siblings, Myrtlene Begley, Gardner Brewer Jr. (Joann), Jennette Pyle, Eureka Kilburne, James Brewer (Lena) and Tonia Feltner. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
