He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Carell and Myrtle (Cole); his son-in-law Dave Kabrich; and his siblings, Mary Ann Carell, Linda Sue Thatcher, Allen "Gus" Carell and Bobby Mac Sills.
He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Cansler; his children, Risa Teats, Robin Kabrich, Kelly Stone and Mark; and his grandchildren, Shawn Kabrich, Ryan Kabrich, Tasha Baker, Autumn Roach, Summer Crouse and Kendra Carell.
