She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence French and Agnes Horan French; and her husband Blaine Akers. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Akers Langsdon; her siblings, Carol French, James French, Catherine Campbell, Lawrence French and Joan Spellman; her children, Connie Pollom (Stephen Pollom) of Indianapolis, J. Blaine Akers (Teresa) of Brazil and Annie Burdette of Westfield; her grandchildren, Carrie Wilcher (Chris), Charlie Langsdon (Emily), Betsy Giordano (Jim), Danny Pollom (Katie), Trevor Akers (Heather), Tyler Akers (Samantha), Austin Akers, Millie Akers, Chloe Burdette and Camron Burdette; her great grandchildren, Jacob Wilcher (Sarah), Emma Wilcher, Anna Giordano, Tucker Pollom, Owen Pollom, Beckham Akers, Parker Akers and Alivia Akers; her great great grandchild Violet Wilcher; and her caregiver Peggy of Life's Journey Hospice. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family and a large number of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be directed to the Shriners Hospital, St. Jude's or to the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry at Annunciation Church.
