He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sr. Woods and Margaret Woods; and his siblings, Jerry Motter and Joan Crow. He is survived by: his wife Joy P. (Krueger); his sons, Brian (Marcia) of Grand Rapids, Brett (Krista) of Fort Wayne and Sean (Amy) of Churubusco, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Paul, Megan, Marc, Jenna (Evan), Cade, Abigail, Mackenzie, Nicholas and Callen; his sister-in-law Marge Motter; and his siblings, Kevin Motter, Kelly Nichols, Katy Hook and Margot Russ.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials be made to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
