He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence F. Jones and Mary H. Van Fleet Jones; his wife Ruth Ann Wagoner Jones; his stepfather Carl; and his siblings, Jim, Ben, Evelyn and Ramona.
He is survived by: his niece Bobi Kee (Barbara) of Hardinsburg; his sisters, Barbara Kee of Paoli and Carlena Christiansen of Bedford; and his children, James of Colorado, Laura of Colorado, Pam of Colorado and Trish of California. He is also survived by two step daughters; and several other nieces and nephews.
