He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Smith and Lillian Cress Smith; and his wife Carol Andrews Smith. He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Eugene Smith (Michelle) of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and Kittura Wickersham (Jerry) of Bright, Indiana; his close friend Judy Barbeau of Greater Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, Alex, Jason, Kali, Colt and Bradly (Anna); his great grandchildren, Tucker and Atticus Oren; and his brother Douglas Smith of Avondale, Arizona.
Memorial contributions may be made to the North Madison Christian Church or the Boy Scouts of America.
