Skyler S. Short Obituary

Mr. Skyler Steven "Skymann" Short, age 20, of Hanover, Indiana entered this life on May 26, 2001 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of Jasmine Forrest Mardello and Eric Short. He resided all of his life in the Hanover community and graduated from Southwestern High School in 2018. He enjoyed playing all sports and being on the honor roll. He was proud to have been second in the state for soccer and was the pitcher for the travel baseball team. He was baptized and a member of the North Madison Christian Church in Madison. He had worked earlier in life at Capstone in North Vernon and for Holder Custom Woodworking. Skyler was an entrepreneur and businessman at heart and recently opened his own company. Skyler liked the finer things in life; a good meal at Ruth Chris Steak House, shopping on Rodeo Drive, traveling, a fast car such as a "Hell Cat" or a Corvette, fine jewelry was a must, as well as fine clothing, playing the piano, working out in the gym, any sport to watch, but making money was his hobby. He loved helping his friends and family. He was a loving dad, son, brother, grandson, nephews, cousin and friend. His sudden death has left an extreme loss to his family and friends. Skyler died on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. in a car accident in Jennings County, Indiana.
