It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Means Long of Hanover, Indiana, who passed away on January 7, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Pearl Dean Means and William Edward "Bill" Means; her sisters, Virginia L. "Jenny" Means Schirmer and Helen Means Watterson; and her nephew Russell Allen "Ruff" Schirmer.
She is survived by: her husband Richard J. "Rick" Long of Hanover, Indiana; her sons, Richard "Joe" Long of Hanover and Denver C. Long (Lisa Sanders) of Hanover, Indiana; her grandson Dylan Long; her sisters, Billie Jones (Steve) of Bedford and Karen S. Lawson (Randy) of Kent, Indiana; her aunt Ellen Denton; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Long, Sr. of Madison, Indiana and Linda Long Smith of Canaan, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
