She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Hunter and JoAnn Cox Hunter; her brother Donald Hunter; her half-sisters, Alice Sizemore and Judy Embry; and her parents-in-law, Donald Lee and Mary Helen Lutz Abbott.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Lee Abbott of Hanover; her stepdaughter Christina Abbott of Indianapolis; her brother Ronald Hunter of New Albany; her siblings-in-law, Kathy Hunter of Lexington, Penny Gordon (Tony) of Lexington and Bill Abbott (Cil) of Lexington; and her nieces and nephews, Shannon Balderas (Stephen) of Columbus, Donna Munoz (Jose), Yakarah Hunter of New Albany, Michelle Clark (Doug), Trevor Brittain (Victoria), Jeffery, Jordan, Joshua, Justin, Stephen, Jr., Alexia and Roc.
