He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hoffman and Sybel Hanson Hoffman; and his siblings, Ronald, Gerald, Cort Hoffman and Wilma Greenwood.

He is survived by: his children, Chintana "Jen" Monday (Jason) of Hanover, Indiana, Ronald Hoffman of Udall, Jimmy Hoffman of Corbin and Chakkrit Hoffman; and his sister Neida Hoffman of Pratt, Kansas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.
