He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton H. Willhoite and Ethel Peterson Willhoite; his wife Mary Helen Kidd Willhoite; his daughter Charlotte K. Willhoite; and his brother Rickey Allen Willhoite.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Gene Willhoite (Cheryl Grubbs) of Madison, Indiana and Kendra Jo Emery (Mickey) of Versailles, Indiana; his stepchildren, Brian Skirvin of Madison, Indiana, Janet Lewis (Jeff) of Lexington, Indiana, Richard Lee Cole of Madison and Tim Cole of Hanover, Indiana; his siblings, Rozella Newman (Orville) of Madison, Indiana and Larry Willhoite (Carolyn Jones) of Carrollton, Kentucky; and his sisters-in-law, Lorrie Willhoite of Madison and Juanita Jumps of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives.
