It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paulette Irene Schmidt DuVall of Hanover, Indiana, born in Maquoketa, Iowa, who passed away on March 20, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schmidt and Alvera Deppe Schmidt; and her brother Dean Schmidt. She is survived by: her husband Gary DuVall of Hanover, Indiana; her children, Michelle Thurnall (Doug) of Hanover, Indiana and Chad DuVall of Madison, Indiana; her grandchildren, Alice Courtney, Amanda Thurnall, Andrew Thurnall, Emma DuVall and Cortney DuVall; her great grandchildren, Boston Courtney, Caleb Courtney, Mila Courtney, Oliver Courtney, Landon Thurnall and Colton Thurnall; and her siblings, Robert Schmidt (Pam) of Dubuque, Dale Schmidt (Judy) of Maquoketa, Douglas Schmidt (Sandy) of Mason, Virgil Schmidt (Jodi) of Maquoketa, Iowa and Annette Lechtenberg (Edward) of Maquoketa, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
