He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Pauline Lowe Foley and William Ray Foley; his daughter Carmen Foley; and his brother Steven Ray Foley. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Lynn Rogers Foley of Hanover, Indiana; his sons, Ben Foley (Charley) of Madison and Grant Foley (Andrea) of Greenwood, Indiana; his grandchildren, Emma, Elizabeth "Ellie", Nolan, Layne and Macie; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Alice Foley of Madison, Pat Stoner (Jess) of Hanover, Jan Bayliss (Rob) of Oxford, Georgia, Larry Rogers (Marsha) of Lavon and Tim Rogers (Carol) of Hanover, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
