He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Phillips Blasdel and James Roger "Bill" Blasdel; his brother Roger Gayle Blasdel; his siblings-in-law, Marsh Ann Lynch Campbell, Jerry Lee Lynch and John Riley, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Dewey Lynch and June Hurst Lynch.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Joyce Lynch Blasdel of Hanover, Indiana; his daughters, Jennifer Blasdel, Marinescu of Columbus and Erin Blasdel-Gebelin (Craig) of Kings Park; his grandchildren, Hannah Indu Kode, Gabriella Carol Marinescu, Brooklyn Elora Blasdel, Michael Keith Blasdel, Paul Emmanuel Blasdel and Elijah James Blasdel; his sisters, Shirley Copeland (John) of North Vernon, Barbara Riley of Deputy and Linda Hendrix (Jerry) of Paris Crossing, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Campbell of Deputy, Terry L. Lynch of Deputy, Indiana and Joann Lynch. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Green Road Baptist Church or the Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
