He was predeceased by: his son Joey Hertz; his parents, Albert A. Hertz and Betty L. Haviland Hertz; his brother John Paul Hertz; his nephews, Andrew Michael Thorne and Greg Jester; his brother-in-law Jim Wakefield; and his grandparents, Roscoe, Flora Franklin Haviland, Charles N. and Louise Catherine Rousch Hertz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cyndi Fielland (Elias) of Naples and Amanda Hertz (Crystal Arbogast) of Wilmington; his granddaughter Ellie; and his siblings, Linda Wakefield of Madison, Pat Brown (Gary) of Brooksburg, Theresa Kleopfer of Madison, Mary M. Hertz of Madison, Joyce Terrell (Jimmy) of Hanover, Indiana, Bernard Hertz (Patty) of Madison and Thomas Hertz of Hanover, Indiana. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
