We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2020, at the age of 89, Maxine Elston Moderau of Hanover, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Gertrude Baxter Elston; her brothers, Gerald Elston and Wayne Elston; her daughter Michele Clark; her husband Herman J. Moderau; her siblings-in-law, Robert P. "Bob" Linkmeyer, Grady L. Harrell and JoAnne Theresa Longacre; and her grandparents, Lafayette and Minnie Baxter.
She is survived by: her son Bradley Moderau (Mary Grubbs) of Madison, Indiana; her sisters, Marlene Elston Linkmeyer of Madison, Indiana and Rosalind Elston Harrell of Madison, Indiana; her siblings-in-law, Jack Longacre of Elkhart, Indiana and Patsy Thomas Elston of Madison, Indiana; her son-in-law Kevin Clark of Chaska, Minnesota; her grandsons, Brent, Corey and Andy; and her great grandchildren, Lexi, Torsten, Shayla and Marlabee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners, Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude's.
