She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence W. Bennett and Hazel Marie Bennett (Froman); her husband Edwin Leon Lester; her stepmother Lena G. Bennett (Wells); and her brothers, Gerald Bennett, Stanley H. Bennett, William Copeland "Bill" Bennett, Sr. and Dealton "Dee" Froman Bennett.

She is survived by: her sons, Charles L. Lester (Janet) of Greendale, IN, Denver L. Lester (Anna) of Dawson, GA and Roger D. Lester (Debra) of Madison, IN; her grandchildren, Shawn, Christina, Christopher Dale, Dallas and Kenneth; her great grandchildren, Sabrina, Autumn, Noah, Hunter, Alex, Austin and Adeline; and her brother Gary L. Bennett of Bennington, IN. She is also survived by her several nieces and nephews.
