She is survived by: her parents, Douglas McCarty and Gloria McMullen McCarty of Hanover, Indiana; her husband Michael Paul Balon of Hanover, Indiana; her daughter Caleigh Adele Balon (Brandon Guillory) of San Diego, California; her siblings, Karen Purtell (Chris) of Plainfield, Indiana, William "Bill" McCarty (Becca) of Georgetown, Indiana and Sumner McCarty (Cecilia) of Cocoa Beach, Florida; her aunt Pat Robinson (Rich) of Frackville, Pennsylvania; her uncles, Tom McCarty of Alaska and Dick McCarty (Ronnie) of Colorado; her nieces and nephews, Alli McCarty, Grant Purtell, Truman Purtell, Ever McCarty, Grey McCarty, Tyler Shimandle, Nathan Shimandle, Kasey Shimandle, Eric Warwas and Elyse Warwas; her mother-in-law Barbara Balon of Allentown, Pennsylvania; and her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Balon (Bob Donaldson) of Hershey and Helen Shimandle (Frank) of Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
