He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Byron Rhodes and Mary Rhodes (Murphy); his son Chan; his grandchildren, John, Ella Rhodes of Wamego and Joshua Shoup of West Point, Virginia.; his wife Janet Rae Hutcheson of Salamanca; his daughter-in-law Jennifer; his daughter Laura Shoup; his son-in-law Will; and his sister Susan Webster (Jim).
