With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Helena Neupert Massey of Hanover, Indiana, born in Peru, Indiana, who passed away on December 15, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Annabelle Crockett Neupert; her husband John Edwin Massey; her father Richard George Neupert; her son James Ash; her son-in-law David Balderson; and her siblings, David Neupert (Teresa) and Alice McCartney.
She is survived by: her children, Rocklin Ash (Lori) of Hanover, Deborah Mazany of Merritt Island and Paula Balderson of Dade City, Florida; her stepchildren, Chris Massey (Nancy) of Rogersville, Kim Massey (Karen) of Peru, Curtis Massey (Ellen) of Houston and Karen Saenz (Tony) of Kemah, Texas; her grandchildren, Todd Ash of Madison, Joel Ash (Leah) of Rising Sun, Charlotte Nevins (Andrew) of Hanover, Shandrea McDowell (Jason) of Richmond, John Mazany of Merritt Island, Kristal Robinson (Ben) of Branchville and Alicia Balderson of Dade City, Florida; her great grandchildren, Kaitlin (Ryan), Jakobe, Cooper, Xavier, Braxton, Jaxon, Tabitha, Bethany, Timothy, Cyrus, Abigail and Zeppelin; and her brother-in-law Ralph McCartney (Shirley). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
