She was predeceased by: her parents, Cassius Martin "Cash" Hunter and Lillian Alice Beatty Hunter; her husband Richard Lee Whittaker; her son John Gregory Jackson; her grandson Shawn Michael Andrew; and her siblings, George Richard Hunter, Cassius Wilbur Hunter and Estelle Holloway.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Lynn Richey (John) of Seymour, Indiana; her grandchildren, Michael Richey, Darren Richey (Trish), Kristin Glenn (Walt), Zachary Jackson and Debra Lee Carter (Donald); her great grandchildren, Raelyn, Mychal (Emily), Onyx, J. C., Christopher, Troy, Sadie, Zoe, Latrice, Tonie, Trenton, Brehana and Alexia; and her great great grandchild Grant. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Second United Methodist Church in North Vernon or the American Diabetes Association.
