She was predeceased by: her mothers, Roberta Childress and Estelle Perkinson; her husband George Richards; her son Billy Richards; her grandson Andrew Richards; her great grandchild Bryce Richards; and her siblings, Velda Lee Davis, Della Jean Childress, James Price and Eddie Price.
She is survived by: her daughter Nannette Richards Newsome (Keith) of Hanover, Indiana; her grandchildren, Karla Newsome of Madison, Indiana and Derek Newsome (Kelly) of Madison, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Bryanna and Deven Newsome; her great great grandchild Jamyn Newsome; her brothers, Harold Childress (Mary) of Madison and Charles "Chuck" Childress (Tammy) of Madison, Indiana; her sister-in-law Linda Price of Brunswick, Georgia; and her aunt Rose Schulze of Jamestown, Missouri. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
