He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Royce and Helen M. Holcroft Royce; his brother James "Jim" Walter Royce; his siblings-in-law, Martha Ellen Shipley Royce and Rev. Robert E. "Bob" Lutz; his nieces, Peggy Royce Crank and Pam Lutz Moser; and his great-nephew Dakota E. Lutz.
He is survived by: his son Jamie Royce (Becky) of Madison, Indiana; his granddaughters, Andie Royce, Katie Royce and Mattie Floyd; the mother of his child Rosemary A. Willis Royce of Madison, Indiana; and his sisters, Joann Goins of Madison and Barbara L. Lutz of Clarksville, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion Honor Guard or the American Legion Riders.
