He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleata Eleanor Lockridge Lyons and James William Lyons; his siblings, Donald Lee Lyons, Barbara J. Schermer and Nancy K. Lyons; his pet Barkley; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Cord, Ken Cord and Greg Cord.
He is survived by: his former spouse Jan Douglas Snelling; his stepchildren, Jolynna Snelling King and Jeff Snelling; his wife Cheryl "Sherry" A. Cord Lyons of Hanover, Indiana; his daughter Julie Tuck (Toby) of Woodward, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Stetson Tuck (Bobbi) and Tyler Tuck; his great grandchildren, Schaylee and Laria Tuck; his stepchildren, Marci Park (Ryan) of Madison, Indiana and Tony Hulman (Lisa Kolman) of Hanover, Indiana; his stepgranddaughter Laci Schirmer (Corey Peck); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Rilyn Kirkland and Finnley Peck; and his siblings, Patricia Consley (Larry) of Madison, Beverly Lyons of Louisville, Debora Mitchell (Rollin) of Carthage, Indiana and James Allen Lyons of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephew.
