He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard O. Ritchie and Helen L. Wehner Ritchie; his brother Charles Frederick Ritchie; and his brother-in-law Paul J. Key. He is survived by: his wife Patti Sue Peak Ritchie of Hanover, Indiana; his children, Carla Ritchie Ginn (Doug Pittman) of Deputy, Hannah Ritchie Trapp (Darin) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Greg Ritchie (Cynthia) of Goshen, Indiana; his stepsons, Heath Taylor (Tracy) of Vinton and Brent Taylor of Vinton, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Ethan, Colton, Ainsley, Patrick, Preston, Kanyon, Elizabeth, Michael, Jordan and Bryce; his sisters-in-law, Carol Key of Madison and June Ritchie of Madison, Indiana; his uncle Harlan Wehner (Polly) of Madison, Indiana; and his aunt Ruby Wehner of Hanover, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
