It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Lee Ellis of Hanover, Indiana, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Ellis and Elizabeth Bruce Ellis; and his brother Donald Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Carol Burke Ellis of Hanover, Indiana; his daughter Angie Stephan (Tim) of Hanover, Indiana; his stepson Chris Burke (Starr) of Madison, Indiana; his grandsons, Jonah Stephan (Hayley) and Joshua Stephan (Bethany); and his sisters, Helen McQueary (Donald) of Clarksville, Indiana and Edie Hayes (Jerry) of Fortville, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
