He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Conaway and Mary Catherine Conaway (Stuart); his grandparents, Lauder, Christy Stuart, Jesse and Estella Conaway; his brothers, Rodger Stuart and Mike Conaway; and his brother-in-law Sam Kelly.
He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Kelly of Hanover, Kim Fields (Dock) of Seymour, Steve Conaway of Hanover and Billy Conaway of Madison; his aunt Jean Ritchey of Madison; his nieces and nephews, Amy Augustin of Marysville, Ginger Hernandez (Jose) of Hanover, Jason Lock (Kaytlin) of Columbus and Matthew Hernandez of Hanover; and his great-nephew Jaxson Lock of Columbus.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Shop with a Cop/Firefighter or the House of Hope Food Pantry. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
