She was predeceased by: her parents, Tokuichi Kunishige and Toshiko Kondo Kunishige; her sister Jessie Hasimoto; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Stanton and Olive Stanton Crozier (Gayle).
She is survived by: her husband Charles Philip "Phil" Stanton of Hanover, Indiana; her daughters, Elizabeth Sefton (Greg) of Wellborn, Susan Sprouls (John) of Sellersburg and Jackie Rodgers (Mike) of Lawerenceburg, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Will Sprouls, Reagan Sprouls, Sean Rodgers, Seth Rodgers and Steele Rodgers; her siblings, Mae Gilliland of Oregon and Tommy Kunishigi of Hawaii; and her brother-in-law Robert D. Stanton of Washington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
