James Tate Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Tate of Hanna, Indiana, born in Eldorado, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto W. Tate and Imogene Tate (Lampkin); and his sister Shirlyn Owens. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Petersen; his sons, Darrell Tate of Hanna and Dwayne Tate of Union Mills; his sisters, Sue Blade (Gene) of Thompsonville, Kay Redmon (Ronald) of Council Bluffs and Lava Stanley (James) of Valparaiso; his grandchildren, Lindsey Jones (Justin), Elizabeth and Emily Tate; and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Ryliegh and Jaiden. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews & friends.
