It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Lee Rodgers of Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandmother Mamie Pearl Cornelius Jowers of Sweet Water, AL.; and his siblings, Cynthia, Ivory, Robert and Johnny.

He is survived by: his wife Sara; his children, Matia of Georgia, Samantha of Florida, Willie Jr. (Andrea Rodgers) of Georgia and Mother Sue Valles; and his siblings, Maurice of Forest, MS. and Jacory of Forest, MS.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Willie's name can be made to Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Munster, Indiana.
